Allen's long route option from No Mans to Larry is a great day of hiking. There are however some less interesting sections: the long mesa connector followed by a sizable chunk of road walking, and the sandy expanse of Bull Pasture.
Doing it again on a recent trip I pieced together an alt that seems overall better, and def more remote (no roads).
Until where it says 'better view' we stuck to Allen's description. Here we did just did a short stretch of mesa before dropping into a cirque at the head of a pair of canyons; one leading to No Mans and the other part of Larry. Scooting around to the south allowed us to descent into Larry way above the big set of pour offs but then immediately climb back out south to a prominent (game?) trail on a high bench. Following this took us spectacularly right to the crux Allen descent into Larry below the pour offs.

While it is still lush in No Mans
Exit from No Mans intersects a cattle route...
.. before an exposed traverse and a section of slots

Up on top briefly before leaving the Allen route
A bit of scouting around into dead end options finally lead us thru another slot and out in the open
From No Mans to here there was no water and we were tired and thirsty when finally finding this by chance..
.. so we camped right by the pothole. Next morning our immediate water issues were solved otherwise!
