Mt Ellen, Henrys?

Hey everyone. I'm planning a trip to escalante area this October and I was hoping to hit Mt. Ellen on the way back. I was wondering if it would be feasible to take my friends Subaru outback up there for I hear the roads are pretty rough or if we should take my truck. Also I was wondering if anyone knows the best access to the little rockies to the south of there.

Subaru should be fine if it's not snowed already which isn't likely.

I agree, I was up there July 24 and the roads aren't too bad. The Crescent Creek road up to Bull Creek Pass had been recently graded when I came down off the mountain.

Subie below Mt. Ellen. I stopped a little bit short because of lightning, but everything up to this point was subieable for sure.
