'Bear cam' viewers save stranded hiker in Alaska

I don't remember that trail being particularly difficult to follow but I guess wind, rain, and fog can easily disorient folks. Glad they had the camera. The only camera I remember seeing back in 09 was at the falls.
 
There are cameras everywhere now.... Ridiculous
 
Yeah, I remember how I felt when I found out one of my fav hiking places (Sand Flats near Moab) now had cameras everywhere because of the ATV destruction.
 
I'm sorry, but shouldn't a PLB or emergency transponder basically be mandatory now?
