I've read this is already an unusually warm year in the Greater Yellowstone area, but I don't know how much that changes things at 8k-11k feet. Would you expect there to still be snow accumulated in the third week of July at lakes near Granite Peak such as Aero, Fossil, Sky Top, Dewey, and the trails and passes nearby? I usually wait until late Aug/early Sept because I'm from so far south that snow confounds and frightens me, like Frankenstein with fire.

I think "snow melt" in this corner of the state is at least 2 weeks ahead of normal. You would almost always be ok by the third week of July anyway. Nothing too challenging in the area you propose to go unless you are planning to include some summits, or perhaps come out of East Rosebud via Martin or Vogel Lakes.
