Tentatively planning a short 3 day trip in the Bighorns for the first week of June (yes I know it’s early) I’ve been to the Sawtooths during the same timeframe a few years ago and things weren’t very technical until about 8500ft, passes were a tiny bit sketchy, but doable even for the inexperienced. I’m wondering about the Coffeen Park trailhead and if anyone knows how the snow typically is at Lake Geneva, Geneva Pass and Robin Lake? I’ve never hiked the Bighorns and really don’t see a ton of info online. Thanks for any info you guys can provide.

There's a bevy of Snotel sites in the Bighorns. I'd suggest digging through various sites at different elevations to get a sense of when things melt out.

Thanks! I found exactly what I was looking for, there’s actually a snotel site within a couple miles of the trailhead, looks like about 25 inches today with significant melt daily so by June 1 it looks to be good to go.
