We’re entering a stretch of unusually warm weather, sunshine and temps in the high 60s, so I decided to go biking today on the Erie CanalWay trail. This is a rail trail that parallels the old Erie Canal for much of New York State. I’m glad I didn’t put my bike away for the winter!

Take a look at the top sign ... note that Amish buggies are not permitted on the rail trail! We do have quite a large Amish community nearby.

Hope you don't mind me piggybacking onto this thread with my own contribution.

I have been biking for the past 3 days in a row, totaling about 93 miles. Don't get to do that often in November here.

Today I did a bit of biking around the Yankton SD area and Gavin's Point Dam.

There's a monastery in town, this is the cathedral there. I had never gone up to see it despite living in the general area my whole life. The steeple is visible for miles and miles around town.

The sunset was just incredible. I sat at a pullout on top of the dam to watch it (after I was done riding). Some bold person did a run along the dam on water skiis. Wish I had gotten a picture, you really don't see that this time of year here.
