I dun want to hijack, @The Trout Whisperer , so just as an aside.
It has been nice as my kids have gotten older to watch them on trips. This last trip the girls all carried their own stuff. The oldest got the water, helped her sister get setup and taken down, braided her hair, and took her around the corner to take care of business. The oldest even got up in the middle of the night when the coyotes were calling to take care of a nature call without any fuss.
She goes on her first backpacking trip with just friends on Friday...
