Did Photo Posting Parameters Change?

I have attempted to post some photos, all from my iPhone. Nothing has changed with my phone and I have always posted photos without any issues. But now I get notification that my files are too large for the server.

Copying and pasting doesn’t work either … same notification comes up.

I’m baffled by this. ???
 
Yep ...ive been getting that as well. Have had to resize them, a pain
 
I also had the exact same problem trying to put together a trip report with pics on my MacBook.....I ultimately gave up. Would be nice if admin could fix the problem.

@kwc ….. chatted with Nick about this a few weeks back when I had the same problem while traveling. Max file size is 2Mb.
There is a very easy way now to change the photo size when uploading from your iPhone.
1) click attach files
2) Once all photo thumbnail photos are visible, click OPTIONS (written in blue) at the very bottom, sort of left side
3) Inside options you can deselect location info, but also change photo size (choose “large” instead of full size). It takes two seconds.

Followed that procedure for this image, uploaded in large, not full size.

I've noticed this issue too. With my larger sensor cameras I've always had to resize before uploading an image, but my older point and shoot ones, I could just upload the full sized image since they are not that big to begin with. Now I am having to resize those images too.

Unfortunately the thumbnail does not even appear, just a message in the “photo box” that says that the file is too big for the server. So I can get past the first step!
