Grandeur Peak - November 11, 2022

Had the day off today, so I decided to hike up Grandeur. We've had a cold spell here in Salt Lake, and the temperature at the Church Fork Trailhead was a cozy 19 degrees this morning. When I go to the summit, I switched out lenses to a wide angle one, and used it on the way down.

Trail crew please. @Rockskipper, get somebody on this. And why is there a stream
running down the middle of the trail. Both are unacceptable.

No, believe it or not, there wasn't a single face plant on this hike.

That would be 2013 there Skipper. It's not easy taking shots with Yetis chasing you.

How about operator error. If I take a shot, but forget to take my finger off the focus/take picture button, then occasionally I get an image that is vastly overexposed. Or see the Yeti explanation above.

It would've been a good story if he'd said Bigfoot, but to believe he went into the Himalayas, which is where Yeti lives, is kind of stretching it a bit, eh?

@Rockskipper, you're just not thinking like a Scatman. It's like this you see. If it is in the snow, then you have a Yeti. If it's in the rainforest of the Pacific Northwest, then obviously Bigfoot. Anywhere else and you are dealing with a Sasquatch. Clear as mud?

A "Yowie" is when you faceplant from running from the above mentioned creatures silly.

I was doing an urban jungle hike this morning and saw this in the rear window of a pickup truck. I also saw this near my house on my way back.
