Greetings fellow hikers! Decided to sign up after reading some of the great posts here. Love the great pictures in the trip posts, and I'm encouraged by all of the advice found in the trip planning forum and hope I can be helpful too.
I'm from Northern Kentucky near Cincinnati, OH and mostly backpack on long weekends within a 3 to 5 hours drive. Over the last few summers I've been able to venture further for week long trips on the CDT in CO, Yosemite, Pictured Rocks in the UP of MI, and this year in the Lost Creek Wilderness in CO.
