Moved from PA to Los Angeles last summer. Found this site while researching adventure plans for the upcoming summer. I'm particularly interested in exploring the Sierra and Big Sur. I'm looking for a mix of challenging, multi-day trips and easier single night trips. (I am working on getting my girlfriend to appreciate the backcountry. She thinks the national park campground experience is "camping." It's great for some people, but it's not for me.) Any recommendations in Angeles, Los Padres, San Bernadino national forests would be appreciated!
