This is a video from a 3 day backpacking trip in the mountains around Sirdal in Western Norway. This is a very popular outdoors destination all year around. I start by climbing the popular Hilleknuten, the highest peak in the area and head east from there and into the more remote areas of the mountains. I camp night 1 close to Steinbu, and on day 2 I go off-trail to the south and climb up on Bergehei, the highest Mesa in the area with stunning views everywhere, weather is perfect with no wind and very clear air. I make camp by a peaceful waterfall and wake up to rain in the morning of day 3. I continue south/west past amazing waterfalls and get back on trail and take a lunch break at Finnstøl/Finn «Homestead». I complete a beautiful loop by going back to Fidjeland where I started. Perfect fall conditions with stunning colours and crisp clear air, and waterfalls around every corner. Enjoy!

Backpacking Norway in the Fall

Looks a bit chilly, but when the weather is right it seems that autumn backpacking, even in beautiful Norway has some really nice qualities to it.
You put a good amount of work into these with the varying angles and editing. Thanks for sharing.
Next lunch I will check out the fjords video.

btw, I also have used that same drybag as a food bag off and on for a few years.

I checked out the fjords video first, nicely put together. Even though it was windy, it was probably nice to have it relatively to yourself. Will be looking at the backpacking video next, looking forward to it!

Thank you Mike, the weather for the Fjord trip was very good, but the wind made it a bit more tricky on the edge of the big drops for sure, and on the rock lol
