One night backpacking trip with swimming

Does anyone have any recommendations for a one (or two) night backpacking trip with swimming and maybe no more than seven hours from Salt Lake City? I've done Coyote Gulch, Death Hollow, Narrows and Kolob's Arch. We'll be doing Paria later this year. Looking for spot for a late June trip.

About 3 miles up South Mule Canyon on Cedar Mesa, is a beautiful pool, great diving opportunities. A few ruin sites up from there, including one above the aforementioned pool. I don't know if it is within 7 hours of Salt Lake, fairly close I would think.

Just an FYI for anyone visiting Cedar Mesa:

"Washing, bathing or swimming is not permitted in or near water sources such as springs, streams and pot holes"

Are there good stops to set up a hammock in boulder creek? We like going sans tent when possible.

I was going to suggest Dark Canyon. Definitely doable in 2 days -- though an extra day would be nice to allow one full day of exploring/swimming.

I have only been there during the spring -- but I *think* it flows in the bottom portion throughout most years.

Way too hot, IMO. I'd bet it flows all year, but man, you're way up and out of the water for way too much of the time to be doing it in 100+ degree temps.
