Wasatch Front Quick Trip Advice Needed

As many of you know this week(end) is going to be the peak for the Perseid meteor shower. I would normally run up into the Uintas for something like this but my SO needs to maintain cell service because of work. Are there any good dark sky areas that have decent cell service? We reside in Davis County along the Wasatch Front in Utah.

I've had good luck in the west desert out towards Wendover. Gets you away from the city lights.

It's not exactly hard to find dark skies in Utah but here's a light pollution map anyway.

Pretty much anywhere on the Wasatch will leave your skies blotted with city glow. You have to get farther afield for good dark skies.

The Wasatch is far too bright for Perseids. I would be far east in the Uintas. We did Gilbert Lake last year for the Perseids and it was dark enough out there for them and the Milky Way.
