And that was about the last we saw of the moon, the night of the lunar eclipse. (The night prior it was all clear sky!)

Did a quick Saturday morning trip. The trails were icy from the rain, melt, then cold night and wind.
Still, it was a good walk, and I watched the clouds curling around as I went. Here is a series from about 20 minutes of the clouds. Exported these quick with Nik.

The glow under the clouds was nice.

Some lower wisps started to reach out like long fingers.

Then more started to crash against the shoulder.

Delicate.

Then the clouds grew stronger as the sun warmed the air.

A view back towards Olympus. It worked better in color.

Barely got snowed on crossing Henry's Fork Basin last week, but it sure looked like I was about to get into some.

He's talking about a basin in the Uintas in Utah. Different Henry's Fork!

It's about time we got our first decent snow in the GYE upper elevations though! There was a tiny amount that fell in the high elevations a few times 2-3 weeks ago, but it's been nothing but sunny and warm for almost two weeks now.
