Do you know your National Parks?

Here's a fun quiz from the Christian Science Monitor based on some iconic photography. If you know the parks, this shouldn't be too hard. Sometimes the other options are silly. Sometimes they don't exist.

And if you get just a little bit lucky you'll get them all right, like I did...grin

I got them all too. Not too hard since I have been to all 15 - except one - Voyageurs NP.

Aww come on, that was easy! They show you a picture of something wooded and the other 3 choices are all slickrock, etc.!

I had to guess on 2-3 of them, and got one guess wrong, for a score of 93%, above the average of 93%.

Why name a park for the craziest group of individuals in American history?? I would have named President's Park something else like Constitution Park (which I guessed and was wrong on), or Freedom Park or Crazy Politician's Park or Bullshit Park. I was there with the wife and kids last summer and do not remember seeing a sign for President's Park. I guess I missed it but shouldn't it have a large wooden sign like all the other National Parks? And maybe some bison grazing on the lawn? And a campground? How about an interpretive trail circling the White House? And some rangers instead of Secret Service on the roof of the WH with their M16s? Who's running this show???

And what's with Voyageurs being the park where you can see the northern lights? I've seen the lights from Yellowstone and Glacier.
