I miss morels. When I lived in Idaho I had family that I would go morel hunting with, but since living in Utah I haven't done it.

Spotted the first Morels of the season. Too small to pick but its snowing today. I hope they make it. . . and that my neighbor does not find them!

Morel season is just about done here.

I did manage to find a couple of nice patches this year and was able to share some of my haul with friends.

Sorry about the fingers in the frame. You'll notice a mushroom in the background on the last picture -- I don't know if it helps for next year but I never take everything in hopes that the spores will spread.

There may still be some in my sister's fridge. They do not seem to have the same fondness for them that I do. If I can sneak them out I'll see what I can do.

it was coming down in buckets the entire holiday weekend, but I anyway hiked the rainforest of Mount Rainier.
Rainy days are great to search for mushrooms.
I found a whole bunch. I'm not interested if there are edible or not, I just wanna take pictures of them
