Gates of the Arctic NP, North Fork Koyukuk River packraft

Ben this is an absolutely epic trip. Kudos to you for pulling off the logistics of the trip successfully. Your descriptions and photos of the bush whacking brought back some painful memories. Nice job sticking it out. Adventure of a lifetime!

Bringing this one back to the top because of how crazy great it is! The Rock Creek bushwhack reminds me of many crazy bushwhacks I’ve done in AK. Usually the bushes win.

I was thinking about this trip recently in relation to the recent threads about unprepared and missing hikers.
