Hi all! I'm happy to find this forum & am looking forward to reading, learning, and sharing.
I'm a hiker/backpacker...but more like a desert rat/canyon dweller. I couldn't imagine loving an area more than the southwest.
I'm a certified WFR & work in test and evaluation of aircraft used for SAR by the USAF (its a PAVE Hawk, not a Blackhawk, dammit) to make money for my adventures.
I'm preparing to check Paria Canyon from White House to Lees Ferry off my to-do list in Oct, and with less than 30 days to go, I'm like a kid waiting for Santa! BTW, I got 6 permits & 2 people backed out. If anyone is interested, let me know.
